Four ways we are lifting financial barriers to support your pet's best health

Bloomfield Animal Hospital knows that the relationship you have with your pet is priceless. However, our team in Lakewood, California, also understands that paying for the services and treatments your pet needs to lead their healthiest, happiest lives is a valid and natural concern. As your local veterinarian, we have taken many steps to minimize the financial hardship that families face, especially when confronted with complex treatments and/or chronic conditions. The following four steps all support the long and healthy life of your pet, as well as the well-being of your entire household.

No. 1: Proactive care, a healthy approach for your pet (and your wallet)

Our approach of emphasizing preventative wellness and proactive services is, by its nature, cost-effective. Regular nose-to-tail wellness checks strive to support the sustained wellness of healthy pets. Plus, they are designed to detect problems at their early stages before they cause pain and threaten your pet's health. Interventions to resolve problems early are generally less extensive and costly than more aggressive treatments to resolve disease and other conditions.

No. 2: Financing to ease the stress

We understand that it's stressful enough to have a sick pet. You shouldn't have to worry about how you will find the money to treat them, too. To lift the burden during the most challenging and worrisome times, we have partnered with both CareCredit® and Scratch Pay. These services take your bill and stretch it over several affordable monthly payments. In certain circumstances, they may offer 0% interest for a certain period. So you don't dig yourself deeper into debt. There are many potential terms within these financing arrangements, and there is certain to be an option that fits your budget comfortably.

No. 3: Protecting your two- AND four-legged family members with insurance

Insurance is no longer limited to plans for humankind. In fact, as advancements in veterinary medicine and technology have accelerated, insurance companies have followed suit. There are now more potential insurance plans to choose from for your pet than ever before. We have seen firsthand what a lifesaver these plans can be for our clients and the patients who benefit from only the best and most advanced treatments.

No. 4: Sign up for Pet Wellness Rewards!

Proactive care that prevents rather than treats is already rewarding enough (see No. 1). However, the rewards keep coming when you maintain wellness visits at Bloomfield Animal Hospital. We are pleased to offer an in-house membership program that, in exchange for one low-cost annual fee, provides you with two exams (wellness or illness-oriented), instant 10% cash-back on future services, and an array of VIP deals and offers throughout the year. It has never been easier to give those dog or cat family members the care they deserve. Plus, we help you to "pass it on" by donating 2% of your total bill automatically to the Grandpaws Foundation, which supports low-income seniors and their pet care needs.

Cost concerns should never stand between your pet and the services and care they need to live a long, happy life. Call 562 383-7788 with questions or concerns and to speak with a member of our team in Lakewood, CA, today.
