What to Expect
You and your pet deserve superior veterinary care, with excellent service and friendly staff. That’s what you can expect at every visit to Bloomfield Animal Hospital in Lakewood, CA. Our state-of-the-art facility is clinic-clean and designed for efficiency. Yet the comfortable atmosphere welcomes you in. Our team has many combined years of experience across a broad range of preventive, medical, surgical, and emergency disciplines. However, making sure your pet gets the best possible care is our top priority. Dr. Arambulo will provide a referral to a veterinary doctor with specialized expertise, if that is appropriate for your animal's welfare.
We recommend an annual check-up for all pets. This is a full physical examination, from head to tail. Because oral health is a vital factor in your pet's overall wellness, the exam may include teeth and gum cleaning. Please bring records of treatment and of your pet's medical history to these appointments. Sometimes small details can provide big insight into the animal's health needs. We suggest keeping a journal throughout your pet’s life, noting changes in behavior, eating habits, medications, and medical care. Even if you don't keep a written diary, please tell us anything that you think might be meaningful.
