Annual Wellness Exams and
Vaccinations: Our primary goal is a long and healthy life
for your beloved pets. Annual physical exams are strongly
recommended to ensure that your pet receives the finest in
preventative medical care. However, if problems do arise,
regular examinations enable our staff to address and treat the
medical condition as early as possible. Vaccinations are
another essential part of your pet's preventative health
program. Vaccines are individually tailored to your pet's
needs, lifestyle, and risk of exposure to diseases.

Surgery: Aside from the typical
spay and neuter packages we offer, our veterinary staff and
surgical facilities are equipped to expertly perform general soft
tissue procedures, including abscess drains, mass excisions,
laceration and bite wound repairs, and Cesarean sections, as well
as selected joint and orthopedic procedures. We utilize the safest in
anesthetics and the most modern and effective monitoring devices
available. Each of our
surgical patients receives the same high quality protocols to
ensure safety before, during and after surgery.

Dentistry:
Maintaining your pet’s dental health is an
often overlooked, yet significant factor of ensuring a long healthy
life for your canine and feline companions.
Advanced periodontal disease in dogs and cats can result in pain
and loss of teeth. Our objective is to prevent
these problems with regular dental cleanings performed here in our
clinic. Our dental prophylaxis package includes
teeth scaling, root planing, tooth extractions (if necessary),
polishing, fluoride treatment, and Oravet
application. Aside from our complete in-house
treatment, we also offer various dental hygiene options for pet
owners to care for their pets at
home.

Grooming Services: Aside
from our expert medical care and treatment, we offer a full-line of

fluff drying, complete body trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, nail

bow. For additional information or to make an appointment,
please feel free to call and speak with one of our friendly staff
members. |

Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory
facilities allow our staff to test our patients' blood serum
chemistry, electrolyte levels, and hemotology. We are also
equipped to perform urinalyses, parasite testing, and various Snap
tests to diagnose a number of diseases including Parvovirus,
Giardia, Heartworm, Lyme, Erlichia, FeLV, and FIV. With our
extensive in-house labortatory facilities, we can have results for
many tests in less than an hour for critically ill or injured
pets. For more in-depth and specialized diagnostic testing,
we also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories that can often
have results to us in less than 24 hours.

Radiology: X-rays are
used not only to evaluate bones and joints, but also provide
extremely useful information a pet's abdominal organs, the heart,
and lungs. Our on-site X-ray equipment provides high quality
radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders that may not
be visibly apparent from a physical
examination.
|
Electrocardiography: We offer in-house
ECG services to evaluate for heart disease in your pets. With
the electrical blueprint of your pet's heartbeat supplied by an ECG
reading, we can diagnose various heart disorders including cardiac
arrhythmias and heart blocks.

offer flea control programs for the specific needs of your pet and
your own household environment. Our staff can
advise you on the most effective ways to control fleas in your
house, in your yard, and on your pet. We

Senior Pet
Care: Because dogs and cats age
so quickly, we offer a variety of programs to monitor and ensure
your pet’s health as he/she ages. Our programs
may include blood tests to evaluate the major metabolic pathways,
ECGs to evaluate the condition of the heart, and X-rays to assess
the lungs and other internal organs. |
Microchip Identification: We offer
economical Avid microchip placement services.
With this service, a tiny microchip containing a code linked to the
owner’s name, address and phone number is implanted under your
pet’s skin. Most animal shelters, humane
societies, and veterinary hospitals have a microchip scanner that
will detect a pet’s microchip so owners can be contacted and
reunited with their pets if they are separated for any
reason. We routinely scan any new pets for
microchips. |
Prescription
Diets: We carry a variety of
specialized prescription diets to aid in the care of your pet’s
special dietary needs. Some of the diets we
offer are helpful in the treatment of diabetes, cardiovascular
disease, gastrointestinal disorders, hepatic and renal disorders,
as well as weight management. |
