Dr. Jose Elmer C. Arambulo
received his B.S. in Medical Technology from the University of
Santo Tomas in 1985. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine from the University of the Philippines in 1991, and
completed his clinical evaluation for veterinary medicine at Purdue
University (Indiana) in 1997. In January 2001, he became
owner and chief veterinarian of Bloomfield Pet Clinic. Prior
to his current practice, Dr. Arambulo worked as a veterinarian at
Banfield, The Pet Hospital in Rancho Cucamonga, California from
1998 – 2000. Dr. Arambulo has a special interest in internal
medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery along with extensive
experience in the treatment of skin, eye and ear ailments. In
addition to his veterinary experience, Dr. Arambulo also worked as
a clinical laboratory scientist from 1992 – 1996. He is an
active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association
(AVMA), the Veterinary Information Network (VIN), and the Southern
California Filipino Veterinary Medical Association (SCFVMA).
He is also a proud member of the Cerritos Chamber of Commerce and
the Better Business Bureau of the Southland. When he is not
taking care of patients or running his practice, Dr. Arambulo loves
spending time with his wife, his two young boys, and his two
dogs. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing a bit of
basketball, tennis and golf with his family and friends.
